As apprentices of Jesus, we have the opportunity to follow Jesus and learn from Him. However, sometimes we begin to live, work, and minister in our own strength. This season, as we press into the word of letting go of the oars, we can release our ways back to the Holy Spirit’s leading. We don’t need His strength added to ours, we just need Him to come take over. In Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus calls us to trust Him and carry his easy yoke—or as Eugene Peterson said, “Learn the unforced rhythms of grace.” As we continue to let go of any oars in our lives, we can trust God’s leading, strength, and direction. What He has for us is always better!

Unbound Now Benefit Concert

We’ll see you at the church Friday, April 21 for the Unbound Now Benefit Concert! Check out our silent auction, enjoy some refreshments, and soak in the music from two local bands: A Brother’s Fountain and Hot Day Sugar Mouth! Tickets are $25. All proceeds go toward fighting human trafficking in Northern Colorado.
